As one of the first chalets in Wengen, Chalet Arven is guaranteed to deliver authentic tradition. Recently newly renovated, this apartment in Wengen is a desirable 3-bedroom accommodation for 5-6 people with breathtaking views of the Jungfrau and Silberhorn Mountains!
Chalet Arven is located in an ideal central location just off the high street and only a 3 minute walk from the train station and the Männlichen cable car station. Wengen is a car free village and is accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen.
The master bedroom is south facing and features a king-size double bed (180x200cm). The second bedroom is at the back of the property and features twin beds (each 90x190cm) which can be used as single beds or one king-size double. The third bedroom is equipped with a single bed (90x200cm) and an additional, optional, pull out bed (90x200cm).
The open plan living-dining-kitchen with dual aspect is South and West facing and features mountain views. The kitchen is very well equipped and includes fondue and raclette sets. The ceramic covered dining table is stylish and spacious for meals at the chalet and the living space with sofa, 2 armchairs and TV offers a comfortable space to relax after a ski day, hiking day or sightseeing.
The large outdoor terrace with stunning views is a real sun trap and with a small garden area just below it offers a unique outdoor experience. Deck chairs, charcoal BBQ, outdoor dining, and sun umbrella ensure there is something for all of the family.
Laundry facilities are available in the cellar room and are shared with one other apartment. The cellar room also offers ample space for storing skis, bikes, sledges and any other sports equipment. Guests can also choose, as convenient, to use our complimentary ski depot next to the cable car in the Central Sport shop.

The depot is located adjacent to the Männlichen cable car within the shop and offers places for more than 1,000 skis, boards and boots. The depot is supervised and is open at the same time as the shop. Every depot space is numbered and a boot drying system is installed.

It was absolutely perfect for family of 5, close to town playground and the lift/visitor center. Also easy walk to train station with luggage! The amenities in house give you everything you need, and kitchen is well stocked with spices and all cookinsee more

The chalet itself was cleaned to a perfection and includes everything you need for cooking, so we were able to cook breakfast and dinner every single day. Right outside the front doors is a drinking fountain, so no need to worry about drinking water. The communication was quick and easy as well. Overall, great value for the place and would recommend to everyone!

Chalet Arven was the perfect place to stay in Wengen for several reasons: 1) The location is the BEST! It is an EASY, mostly level five minute walk from the train. 2) The views are unbeatable from both inside the apartment and from the terrace which had a table and lounge chairs. 3) The apartment has everything you need and more! The kitchen is modern and has EVERYTHING you need. (I cooked a roast chicken dinner for all of us, with ease.) The living room is comfortable. There are a lot of books for your reading pleasure. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. 4) There is a FREE washer and dryer! 5) Check-in was easy. The town of Wengen is a great home base for this region because it is small and quaint, yet it has all services you need. The Coop is open from 8am - 6pm everyday, and there are many restaurant choices. The Indian restaurant was FABULOUS!

It was 3 generations of our family holidaying together and the stay was truly fantastic. The chalet embraced us and made us feel at home on this piece of paradise called Wengen! Great location in terms of scenic beauty (with a wonderful porch overlooking the mountains/ valley - some trees partly block the mountain view but that doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things), proximity to the station/restaurants, a mild slope / mostly flattish (except for 3-4 metres) thus suitable for seniors, tranquil, impeccably furnished with a warm wooden decor, all amenities and prompt helpful service. Strongly recommended.

We traveled with our 3 children (aged 6,8 & 10). This location excellent as it was just off the Main Street but was still quiet. There was plenty of room for us and the weather her was perfect of eating meals outside. We prepared most meals at the chsee more

There was plenty of room for us and the weather her was perfect of eating meals outside. We prepared most meals at the chalet and found the kitchen to have everything we required as well as some extras like oil for cooking, spices and tea and coffee. This was really appreciated. The extra effort of the managers was great including the complimentary bathroom products. The views from the chalet are just perfect. We were there on quite warm days (30 degrees) however the chalet was cool and comfortable. We recommend this and would return if in Wengen again.

Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet worden und die Renovierung wurde mit Detail vorgenommen - sehr modern und ohne jegliche Mängel. Die Küche ist sehr hochwertig (z.B. Granitplatte) und auch die Küchenausstattung war hervorragend. Am letzten Abend konnten wir unseren Kurzurlaub sogar mit einem Käsefondue beenden. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft absolut weiter und werden beim nächsten Urlaub in der Jungfrauregion wieder hier übernachten. Vielen Dank für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt!
