With one-bedroom, two-bathrooms, open living-kitchen-dining area with sofa bed and south-west facing balcony this tastefully furnished apartment is a great choice for up to 4 people.
Wengen is a car limited village accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen and the chalet is situated 450 meters from the Wengen train station.
The spacious double aspect open plan living-kitchen-dining area with 2 sofas and arm chair opens out onto a south-west facing balcony with views over the ski piste and surrounding mountains. Just off the kitchen, a dining corner with family sized wooden dining suite is great for family meals or relax with cable-TV and wifi entertainment after a meal out in the nearby restaurants.
The spacious master bedroom with king-size bed (180x200cm) has its own ensuite bathroom with bathtub and sink. A further two guests can be accommodated on the sofa bed (160x200cm) in the living room. Usefully, a further shower room with shower, sink and toilet is situated off the hallway.

There was lots of room and the kitchen had everything we needed. It felt like we could have stayed there a month - and would have loved to. It's a little off the beaten path but we liked that. The only downside was pulling our luggage up the first nisee more

Rachel was very quick to respond to my questions. Note that the walk from town is uphill, and it is near the train so if you like to sleep ingo to bed early this might be disruptive to you. The kitchen had everything you could need - including a fondsee more

The kitchen had everything you could need - including a fondue pot which is great since dinners in Switzerland can get expensive. The balcony was really nice but didn’t have much of a view. The apartment was decorated beautifully and it had lots of fuzzy blankets which is a plus! Check out was a little dicey. We couldn’t figure out which bags our trash had to go in and it took a bit of running around town to return everything. I stayed in an air BnB in Kandersteg after my trip to wengen and they did all that for us on departure. It would be nice if alpine services did that for you also, but the check in process was very easy And the air BnB was clean, and modern as described. Also laundry in the building which was a huge plus! We definitely used that after hiking for 3 days!

Wengen is a truly lovely village and the apartment was very nice and convenient. It’s bright and airy and located in a quiet corner of Wengen. It neighbors the train tracks and at least when we were there a cow pasture. (Tip: if there are cows grazing, leave the windows closed during the day to keep flies out and open them after dark — the flies didn’t come in then.) It’s a bit of a hike from the center of town and the last stretch is gravel but that’s to be expected in Wengen. The apartment is pleasantly furnished, and the living and dining areas were very functional and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we were readily able to cook during our stay. Excellent WiFi for those who need to stay connected. (A previous rental in Wengen just had a much slower cellular hot spot — this one has proper high-speed Internet.) It’s worth noting one quirk of the apartment is that the second bathroom has just a tub/shower and sink but no toilet. Overall, the apartment was just what we needed for a terrific vacation.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The road is hilly, so it was quite hard dragging our bags up hill on the dayarrival. But apart from that it was easy walk to the train station.

Just far enough from the downtown of Wengen to be quiet and secluded, yet still an easy walk down to the Coop, shops, restaurants and trails. We found the chalet to be well equipped, clean and just a fun place to relax in between our adventures. Gresee more
